Architectural heritage, which embodies historical, cultural and identity value, is facing more widespread threats today than ever before. From systematic destruction caused by armed conflicts to erosion caused by climate change, as well as severe damage caused by natural disasters and managerial negligence, a significant part of historical structures are at serious risk of loss. The architectural heritage of the Islamic world - from Andalusia to Southeast Asia - is a unique and irreplaceable treasure trove of art, culture, technology and history. This heritage, which includes historical monuments, urban textures and traditional construction systems, reflects the cultural, religious and historical identity of the people of these regions. In recent decades, many valuable heritage sites in Islamic countries such as Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya and even Iran have either been destroyed or are currently under serious threat. Given the vital role of this heritage in shaping the identity and unity of the Islamic world, holding this conference is a scientific and cultural necessity.
